Afatinib is an anti-cancer medication that is used to treat non-small cell lung cancer and it binds the enzyme receptors responsible for the growth of cancer cells. Afatinib dose should be taken 1 hour before the meal or 2 hours after the meal. If the patient experience any side effects like Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Itching, rash, and decreased appetite then consult your doctor. Pregnant women are not advised to take the medication.
