    Tofacitinib –Treatment for rheumatoid arthritis

    in Let's Talk Bonsai

Tofacitinib is sold under the brand name xelijanz and is used to treat ulcerative colitis and rheumatoid arthritis. If a person is allergic to any medicine then he/she needs to interrupt the use immediately. The patient needs to take the dose with or without food. It also should be avoided in case there is a risk of thromboembolism and thrombosis. Tofacitinib is also responsible for causing anaemia so haemoglobin level should be checked prior.

may vary according to different brands available in the market.
