Welcome! If you are a TBS member and you would like to sign up for any of the upcoming workshops you can do so on this page. TBS accepts PayPal as the only form of payment. No PayPal account is necessary; PayPal allows you to pay with a credit card using the same link.
Lottery Process if more than the slots available are requested by the date indicated:
People are numbered by the time they signup, random numbers are generated using https://numbergenerator.org/randomnumbergenerator/ and these are used to select individuals who will not get a requested slot in a work shop. Money paid will be refunded to these people.

Triangle Bonsai Society welcomes Mark Arpag in March 2026 for two workshops and a demo/lecture on March 7-8, 2026. Mark has been a long time student and friend of Bill Valavanis. He has displayed his bonsai at several US National Bonsai Exhibitions and Winter Silhouette shows. Workshops are held at the Raleigh Police Club 3500 Leonard Rd, Knightdale, NC 27545​.
Workshop 1: Mark will teach a workshop on Saturday March 7th, from 9am-12pm, using Koyohime Japanese Maples. The trees are provided and should let you leave the workshop with a bonsai that you will be proud of. There are ten spots available. The cost of the workshop will be $175. You will need to bring your tools and soil for repotting. TBS will provide wire and a training pot.

Workshop #2: The second workshop on Saturday March 7th will be a BYOT workshop, from 1-4pm. Eight spots are available at a cost of $50. Please bring 1-2 bonsai you would like help with, and your tools.
